Grandma helps Jaymi load her plate from the "Christmas brunch buffet", a tradition at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. Traditional foods are blueberry Belgium waffles and Canadian back bacon. The family favourite is Grandma's potato pancakes served with sour cream or real maple syrup.

Rachel looks up so Auntie Linda can take her picture. Good for you, Rachel, for choosing some fresh fruit and vegetables. However, when she heard Grandma talking about buying something new like fresh fennel, she realized what she had wasn't celery. Not an adventurous eater, she wouldn't give the fennel a try.

Hey, guys, let me take your picture! Oh, you're eating your Christmas treats... close your mouths, then. Good boys... snacking on dried apricots instead of candy. Plenty of candy for later.

We're playing Monopoly! Never mind it is one of Jaymi's presents - where did she go? The boys were too cutthroat for her. She's off playing with something else now.

Grandma bought Ben and Jack a new PlayStation2! They weren't expecting such a big gift, but figured they would be pooling all their Christmas money and birthday money in order to buy it! So isn't it amazing that they chose to play Monopoly first?! Not to worry... they have already played HOURS and HOURS of PlayStation in the last few days. Jack has a thumb blister from endless controller clicking.
Hope your holidays were filled with warmth and laughter!
